About Us

Michael Fedele

Michael Fedele has been serving as President of Execaire Aviation since 2018. He previously held the position of Vice-President and General Manager of Execaire, a division of I.M.P. Group Limited, beginning in 2009.

Before joining Execaire Aviation, Michael had a distinguished career in the Canadian Air Force, where he worked primarily at the Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment in Cold Lake, Alberta. Following thirteen years of service, he transitioned to a role as an Instructor at the National Test Pilot School in Mojave, California. Michael then joined CAE, initially as Manager of Test and Evaluation, and progressed to Vice President and General Manager in their Civil Simulation and Training business unit.

In his current role, Michael oversees the operations of Execaire Aviation, which includes four divisions and employs over 500 people across Canada and the U.S. The group is dedicated to providing comprehensive general aviation services.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from the Royal Military College of Canada (1989), and is a graduate of the Empire Test Pilot School in the United Kingdom (1991). He also completed a Master of Science in Aviation Systems at the University of Tennessee Space Institute (1996) and earned an Executive MBA from the University of Colorado (2005).

Rudy Scholaert

As the Senior Vice President – Aviation Ground Operations & Maintenance of Execaire Aviation,  Rudy Scholaert oversees all aircraft maintenance operations including MIIR, the Paint shop, Line Maintenance, Aviation Technical Services, Stores and our FBO services. His leadership ensures Execaire Aviation delivers seamless and exceptional service to our clients.

Beyond his FBO responsibilities, Rudy plays a pivotal role in managing several inter-departmental projects across Execaire Aviation, contributing to the company’s strategic growth and operational efficiency. Rudy joined Execaire Aviation in 2016 as the Regional Director for Ontario. Before that, he held numerous senior leadership positions at a publicly-traded Canadian high technology company, including Senior Vice President of Global Product Provisioning, Vice President of Operations, and Director General of their Beijing-based Joint Venture.

A graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada, Rudy began his aviation career as an Aerospace Engineering Officer with the 435 Tactical Airlift Squadron in Edmonton. His extensive experience and dedication to excellence have been instrumental in driving Execaire Aviation’s success.

Jöel Bédard

Joel Bedard, the Vice-President of Execaire Aviation’s FBO Operations, brings over 37 years of dedicated experience to the company. Throughout his extensive career, Joel has navigated the dynamic and fast-paced aviation industry with enthusiasm and a deep passion for aviation.

The unpredictability of aviation fuels Joel’s love for the industry. He believes that despite its vastness, the aviation community remains a close-knit world of enthusiasts and professionals. Driven by his passion for aviation, Joel eagerly collaborates with his team every day.

Joel thrives on challenging targets and embraces the ever-evolving nature of the aviation industry, finding it both interesting and enjoyable. His commitment to excellence and operational integrity has been the cornerstone of his long and successful career at Execaire Aviation.

George Zarikos

As the Director of Maintenance at Execaire Aviation, George Zarikos oversees the comprehensive maintenance operations for Execaire Aviation’s managed fleets. His responsibilities extend to third-party maintenance in Montreal, including the paint facilities, as well as operations in Toronto and certified repair stations in the USA. George serves as the Person Responsible for Maintenance and Maintenance Control System (PRM/PRMCS) for Transport Canada, the Accountable Manager for the FAA, and the delegate for the SMS system for Maintenance.

Throughout his career at Execaire Aviation, George has been instrumental in developing a robust maintenance execution, control, and airworthiness structure. He focuses on operational efficiency and process standardization, leveraging synergies across the diverse maintenance operations and service activities, all within a safe environment.

George holds degrees in Engineering and Management from École Polytechnique de Montréal and McGill University. His expertise and dedication ensure the highest standards of maintenance and safety across all operations.

Harald Maron

Since 2007, Maron has been a key player in the aircraft management division at Innotech-Execaire. Prior to this, he served as the Sales & Acquisitions Director for seven years at a prominent business jet brokerage firm. In addition to his extensive industry experience, Maron holds a commercial pilot’s license with a multi-engine/instrument rating. Before transitioning to aircraft sales and management, he was the Chief Flight Instructor at a flight college aviation program.
