Execaire Aviation Achieves IS-BAH Registration Across Entire Canadian FBO Network
Milestone positions Execaire Aviation as the only FBO network in Canada with IS-BAH registered locations
[Las Vegas, NV – October 21, 2026] – Execaire Aviation is proud to announce that its Fixed Base Operations (FBOs) in Toronto (YYZ), Montreal (YUL), and Halifax (YHZ) have successfully achieved International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) Registration, joining its Ottawa (YOW) FBO, which achieved registration in July 2026.
With this latest milestone, Execaire Aviation’s entire FBO network is now a IS-BAH Registered Ground Handling Service Provider, making its locations the only FBOs in Canada to hold this internationally recognized distinction.
Developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), IS-BAH is the global standard for business aircraft ground handling operations. The standard is designed to promote industry best practices through robust safety management systems, risk mitigation, standardized operating procedures, training, and continuous improvement.
“Achieving IS-BAH Registration across our entire FBO network is an important milestone for Execaire Aviation and a reflection of the commitment to excellence our teams demonstrate every day,” said Rudy Scholaert, SVP Airside Ground Operations & Maintenance. “Whether an aircraft arrives in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa or Halifax, our customers
can have confidence that our teams are operating at the internationally recognized FBO Standards for safety, quality and operational excellence.”
The achievement follows Execaire Aviation’s July 2026 announcement that its Ottawa FBO had become the first location in the network to achieve IS-BAH Registration. At the time, the company committed to extending the standard across its Canadian FBO network as part of a broader initiative to further strengthen safety, consistency and
customer service. Completing the registration process across Toronto, Montreal and Halifax delivers on a commitment to excellence and reinforces Execaire Aviation’s position as a leader in Canadian business aviation ground handling.
“Safety is the foundation of our operations, but consistency across our network is equally important,” added Scholaert. “This achievement demonstrates that the same rigorous approach to safety and service is embedded throughout our FBO operations. We are incredibly proud of our teams in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Halifax for reaching this
milestone together.”
IS-BAH is recognized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in the 2026–2028 Global Aviation Safety Plan (GASP) and establishes internationally accepted best practices for business aircraft ground handling organizations.
